The TC Exchange: From My Desk, Olivia
Aug 11, 2025
Hello TC's!
"Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out." – Robert Collier
Lately, I’ve been reminded that our biggest business moves — like rolling out BUILD LAUNCH and GROW— are really the result of hundreds of small, deliberate steps. Every conversation, every tweak to a system, every late-night brainstorm adds up. This month, I’m sharing a mix of wins, lessons, and behind-the-scenes moments that are all part of building something that lasts. Whether personal or professional, silly or serious, I hope you find a takeaway (or two) that makes whatever you have going on in your world just a little bit easier.

WHAT I’M EXCITED ABOUT
Launching LAUNCH!
We officially have 5 TC's in the Founders Five, and are working on filling up our next group of 15. I can't wait to connect with and coach our new members to roll out the next section of our course LAUNCH.
Also, I'm happy that school is starting up again this week. I love it when the people I interact with have a sense of rhythm and routine that summer just doesn't seem to provide. Even though I don't have any kiddos, I'm ready for the parents around me to take a breath!!!
BOOK I’M READING
THE COACHING HABIT, Michael Bungay Stanier
This one was a recommendation from our business coach as we venture into the next chapter of Avenue Transactions. I LOVE the fast-paced and conversational style that Stanier takes as he walks through 'The Seven Essential Questions'. Overall, this is a book that teaches you how to leverage the language you use to make an impact in a coaching environment, and I can definitely see these skills transferring to many realms of our business.
AMOUNG FRIENDS: A NOVEL, Hal Ebbott
I've been a Book of the Month Club member since 2020... I like it because it pushes me to read books I wouldn't have picked up on my own. Among Friends is a literary fiction about 2 families that are very tight knit who suffer from an action that causes a massive fallout. The writing is tense, and the plot relies heavily on character development. I love the edginess, and I'm really enjoying it so far!

WHAT I’M WATCHING
Mind Hunter, Netflix
I'll be honest, I fall asleep every time the TV is on. BUT I've stayed awake for 85% of the first 2 seasons of this series and can't wait for the third to come out. It's literally the first TV show I've watched since 2021... so maybe don't take my word on good television!

WHAT I’M LISTENING TO
Modern Wisdom - Episode 973, Rory Sutherland
Always my favorite guest on this podcast, Rory Sutherland (Vice Chairman of Oglivy Advertising) and Chris cover how to improve airports, the surge of Waymos in Austin TX and what auto-driving cars could mean for the nation, and the future of AI. A fun, playful episode with many good insights. Modern Wisdom's Monday episode releases are always worth a listen.
WHAT I JUST BOUGHT
Eufy Robot Vacuum
Aka my new maid. Seriously, this thing is a game changer. I live on acreage and between myself, my boyfriend and my dogs we are always tracking in and out of the house after working in the barn, pasture, garden or chicken coop. Even removing shoes at the door, our floors require constant attention BUT not anymore. This thing has cut the amount of times I have to sweep or vacuum (sweeping was a DAILY chore) in half and I don't know how I lived without it before. It does the tile and the carpets and is simply a lifesaver.
WHAT I LEARNED THIS WEEK
As always, business is just a giant series of Megan and myself saying "WTF" 18 times a day, then trying to get enough sleep to repeat the whole dang thing over the next day.
However this week presented some challenges in a business that I'm an investor in that have forced me to grow in new ways. I'm surrounded by other investors that are wiser than me in business, and I'm constantly learning from their outlooks and strategies. One thing I learned this week is that there are some processes and decisions in business that simply can't be rushed. Sometimes, even though action MUST be taken, the time is not now. Even when you know that a transition needs to be made, sometimes the wisest move is to let things play out a little longer than you're comfortable with, in order to cushion the transition.
WHAT I’M WORKING ON
LAUNCH, Course Series #2
Megan and I have continued our hours of recording (and re-recording after an audio oopsies.... not fun but even better the second take!) for the next step in our course series. We are super excited about this one as it really takes BUILD to the next level.
As a reminder, LAUNCH is for all of you that are starting on files (or just completed BUILD) and are looking to grow your Client Base / File Load. In this course we cover:
- Identifying your Business Goals & Creating Them!
- How to get New Agent Clients (with scripts and examples)
- On/Off-Boarding of Agent Clients (systems included)
- Learning to Manage Multiple Files (40+ Files! Systems and workflow)
- Business Basics: Accounting, Setup, Branding, Marketing and More!
If you want to get in on the ground floor when we launch on or before, August 15th you can join the Launch Waitlist! We are going to do a promo event so stay ready :)
