The TC Exchange: From My Desk, Megan

Hello TC's!

I don’t know about you, but this week felt like one of those deep breath, refocus kind of weeks. It’s easy to get caught up in all the new things we could be doing — but sometimes the most powerful shift is taking a step back and making sure the basics are actually doing their job. That’s where I’ve been this week — tightening, refining, and building a stronger foundation.

WHAT I’M EXCITED ABOUT

Labor Day Weekend

Small excitment for this month - I am ready for the nice 3 Day Weekend and spend some time outdoors :)

BOOK I’M READING

The Dragon Reborn, Robert Jordan (Fiction)

I like to take small breaks from all the Business Books, and I am returning to a ficition series that I have always loved, The Wheel of Time Series. This is the third book in the series, but it is such a great and complex storyline that builds and builds and builds.

There are 14 Books total (if you are looking for a challenge), but this is a Game of Thornes like storyline where you are following along with multiple characters and mulitple storylines.

WHAT I’M LISTENING TO

5 Businesses. 5 Fixes. One Playbook | Ep 937, Alex Hormozi

This was a great listen - I actually got the most from the final business that spoke. She talked about having so many different ideas, and getting hung up on what route to proceed in growing her business.

It really spoke to me as they talked about how entrepreneurs have a lot of creativity and we can easily get bored. Learning how to funnel that creativity into the business and not a side business or quest is key.

WHAT I JUST BOUGHT

keap, CRM Software

If you are looking for a system to manage your clients at a high level, this is an AMAZING tool. It allows for a lot of personalization and customization so you can keep your clients top of mind and connected within your network.

This is not a beginner tool, definitely for people that are more established within their business, however this could be used for any industry, not just Transaction Coordination.

WHAT I LEARNED THIS WEEK

Sometimes the smartest move isn’t adding more — it’s refining what you already have. This week was a reminder that going back to the basics can be game-changing. When foundational systems aren’t fully implemented (or implemented well), things fall through the cracks. We’re doubling down on tightening the core — and it’s already making everything feel lighter and more effective.

WHAT I’M WORKING ON

We’re reimagining our Agent Procurement and Onboarding Process — not just as a checklist, but as an experience. From first contact to their first closing, we want every step to feel intentional, polished, and service-driven. The goal? To create a process that reflects the quality and professionalism we bring to every transaction.

Thank you for reading The TC Exchange.

See you next month!

The TC Exchange: From My Desk, Megan
Hello TC's!  I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how easy it is to want results now—more clients, smoother systems, bigger growth. But the truth is, the businesses that thrive long-term aren’t built overnight… they’re built by showing up, doing the reps, and learning to be patient with the process. If you want to move the needle in your business, it starts with the small, consistent tasks: se...

Hello TC's!  "Great things are not done by impulse, but by a series of small things brought together." – Vincent Van Gogh As we move into the final stretch of the year, I’m reminded that business isn’t built in big, flashy moments — it’s in the steady, consistent steps we take every day. The late-night ideas scribbled on paper, the small adjustments to systems, the conversations that spark new ...
